Stunning location near the White Mountains, charming lodging options, engaging hosts who share local insights
Noise carried from neighboring rooms often interrupted a peaceful night's sleep!!! The bathrooms felt cramped and in need of better layout and amenities!!! Also, outdated furnishings can detract from the overall experience!!!

Spruce Moose Lodge offered a cozy atmosphere with charming decor. The warm welcome from the hosts made me feel right at home. Breakfast was truly exceptional, featuring homemade blueberry pancakes that were to die for. The common areas were inviting, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after exploring the beautiful gardens. The location allowed easy access to downtown shops and restaurants, just a short walk away. However, the bed in my room was uncomfortable and squeaked with every movement. Walls were thin, making it hard to ignore conversations from adjacent rooms. Fortunately, the room was clean and well-maintained, which was a plus.

The room was smaller than expected.

Well-appointed rooms provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden and common areas were inviting, perfect for gathering with friends. Breakfasts each morning were a standout, with delicious homemade options that set the tone for the day. Some rooms could benefit from air conditioning during warmer months, which made afternoons a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the hospitality and warm atmosphere made the experience memorable and enjoyable.

We had a fantastic time exploring North Conway Country Club with breathtaking views. The lodge was perfect for our large family of 20, and we enjoyed the jacuzzis in our cozy rooms. The location made it easy to walk to downtown attractions, too!
In my wife's opinion, the beds could be more comfortable for families with children.
